MATRIXX Event File (MEF)

A list of events (both usage and non-usage) generated during transaction processing. Each MEF has a corresponding transaction log file from which its data was extracted. A MEF includes details for all Event Detail Records (EDRs) in an event type hierarchy. Balance tracking information is contained in the events themselves. MEFs contain events that organized by the global transaction counter (GTC) value. You can control when MEFs are generated by specifying limits on time, number of events, or file size.
