Welcome to the MATRIXX Software documentation, where you can find information about how to install, configure, and maintain a MATRIXX environment. The following information describes how to provide documentation feedback, how to use and navigate through the MATRIXX documentation.

Documentation Conventions

The MATRIXX documentation uses the following conventions.
Bold Identifies items whose names are predefined by the system, such as user interface controls.
Italics Identifies variables that are parameters whose actual names or values are to be supplied by the user.
Monospace Identifies file names and directories, data value examples, code examples, blocks of code, references to code snippets inline, system messages, and commands supplied by the user.
Dash (-) A dash (-) in a property table cell indicates the property in that row does not have a default value.

Providing Feedback

The MATRIXX Software documentation group strives to provide concise, complete, and accurate product documentation, and welcomes all comments.
To... Do this...
Ask for clarification about, comment on, or request additional information about a feature. Click Add New Comment at the bottom of every document. You are prompted for a username and password the first time you click this button. Thereafter, click Log In to log in and provide comments.

Using This Documentation

These tips will help you search for information, navigate through the documentation, and print topics.

To.. Do This...
Search for information. Enter keywords or a topic title in the Search field to quickly locate topics about a particular subject. In the search results, click a topic link to view more information.
The following rules apply during searches:
  • You can use quotes to perform an exact search for multiple word phrases (for example, "active status" returns results only if both words are found consecutively and exactly as they are typed in the search field).
  • You can use "and" and "or" for boolean searches. When there are two adjacent search terms without an operator, or is the default search operator (for example, active status is the same as active or status).
  • Use the space character to separate keywords (active status is two separate key words).
  • Words with a colon (":"), minus ("-"), underline ("_"), or dot (".") are a single word.
  • Search terms should contain two or more characters.
Search the index for information. Click index to display an alphabetically-sorted index of keywords. Not all components contain an index entry.
Navigate through the document tree.
  • Click MATRIXX Internal Documentation to return to the home page.
  • Click a topic anywhere in the breadcrumbs bar to return to that topic: breadcrumb bar
  • Click previous arrowto go to the previous topic, or next arrow to go to the next topic in the documentation tree.
Print a topic. To print a topic, click print on the upper right of the screen, or click Ctrl+P. Then confirm the printer to use, and click Print.
Go to the MATRIXX Software Website: Click MATRIXX Logo at any time to go to the MATRIXX Software Website.

Navigating this Documentation Using the Keyboard

Use the following key combinations to navigate through the documentation tree by using the keyboard.
To.. Use These Keyboard keys...
Go to the next link, button, or topic node from inside a pane in the browser. Click Tab.
Move to the previous topic node. Click Shift+Tab.
Scroll to the top or bottom of a topic. Click Home or End.
Go back to the last screen. Click Alt+Left Arrow.
Go Forward to the next screen. Click Alt+Right Arrow.
