Service Contract Events and Notifications

Service contract offer events and notifications are generated when processing service contracts.

Notifications for service contract offers with a commitment period return the commitment period end time (ContractCommitmentPeriodEndTime) at cancelation. For more information, see the discussion about MtxRecurringRechargeNotification in MATRIXX Integration.

If there are early termination charges (ETCs), MtxPurchasedOfferInfo returns the offer status in_cancellation. For more information, see the discussion about MtxPurchasedOfferInfo in MATRIXX Subscriber Management, and the discussion about offer life cycle status codes and offer life cycle profiles in MATRIXX Subscriber Management API.

Recurring processing for service contract offers with payment schedules generate recurring events and notifications. The CycleStartTime and CycleEndTime in the recurring events and notifications show the start and end times of the new cycle period that is beginning.

When a service contract offer is suspended, an MtxSuspendEvent Event Detail Records (EDRs) indicates the offer is suspended in Pause mode (IsPauseMode). When a suspended service contract offer is resumed, an MtxResumeEvent EDR records the resumed interval ID (CycleIntervalId), and for purchased item cycle, records the new interval end time (CycleEndTime).

For information about service contract events, see the discussion about event fields in MATRIXX Integration. For information about service contract notifications, see the discussion about notification message fields in MATRIXX Integration.
