Cancelation Proration: How Offer Purchase Proration Settings Affect a Bundle Example
If the charge and discount are in different product offers, the discount based on the percentage of a charge is prorated according to the Purchase Proration setting on the offer with the charge.
Any other discount is prorated according to the Purchase
Proration setting of the offer with the discount.
A bundle is purchased in a 30-day month
with 24 days (80%) remaining. The bundle contains three product offers:
- Product offer C specifies a recurring charge of €50/month.
- Product offer D1 specifies a recurring discount of 10% of that charge.
- Product offer D2 specifies a recurring discount of €5/month.
This proration would result:
- If C is set to Full Amount, then C charges 100% of the specified €50/month, and D1 discounts 10% of that, or €5.
- If C is set to Prorated Amount, then C charges 80% of the specified €50/month, or €40; and D1 discounts 10% of that, or €4.
- If C is set to No Amount, then C charges nothing and D1 discounts 10% of that, also nothing.
- If D2 is set to Full Amount, then D2 discounts the specified €5/month.
- If D2 is set to Prorated Amount, then D2 discounts 80% of the specified €5/month, or €4.
- If D2 is set to No Amount, then D2 discounts nothing.
