Managing Subscriptions
Use the Subscription Summary page to display information for a _glossary/subscription.html.
Subscription Offers
The Offers panel displays up to three product offers the subscription owns and the device status for the offer. If the offer has a cycle associated with it, the Cycled icon () appears next to it. To view all offers for a subscription, click View All.
Add Multiple Subscription Offers
You can add multiple offers to the subscription or to one of the devices associated with the subscription. Before you purchase these offers, you can view an estimate of the offers. After you purchase the offers, you can view a receipt for the offers.
Configure a Subscription Offer's Parameter List
If the catalog item associated with the purchased offer has parameters defined, then you can update the parameter values.

- About MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool Help
  MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool Help describes how to use MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool to view and manage subscription and group account information, including purchased offers, services, and balance amounts. MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool users are granted privileges (including managing subscriptions and groups) based on the user role they are assigned.   Log into MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool with the following procedure.
- Navigating MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool
  When you log into MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool, the Home page displays.
- Debug MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool
  If enabled, use the debug mode to retrieve information about the MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool deployment for debugging issues. For more information, see the discussion about enabling debug mode in MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool in MATRIXX Web App Administration.
- Performing a General Search
  You can perform a general search for users, devices, groups, or subscriptions. In addition, you can search for an object by defining certain criteria. The available search criteria depends on the object type.
- Managing Users
  Use the User Summary page to display information for a user. Users have a many:many relationship with subscriptions and groups. If assigned the Admin user role, the user is the recipient of group notifications.
- Managing Subscriptions
  Use the Subscription Summary page to display information for a _glossary/subscription.html.
  - Search for a Subscription
    You can search for a subscription by using an External ID, Access Number, Login ID, Object ID, or IMSI.
  - Add a Subscription
    In Subscriptions, you can create a new subscription. Creating a subscription also creates a user using the user's first and last names, contact information, and language information. The user created is the subscription's owner by default.
  - General Subscription Information
    General Information displays the subscription details described in customer_manager/r_csr_h_sub_summary.html#r_csr_h_sub_summary__table_DFD7374D92D5490A960A571BAC602A8E.
  - Subscription Device Details
    Up to three devices display on the subscription's plan. To see all devices, click View All on the Devices panel. In addition, you can add new devices to the subscription's plan.
  - Subscription Users
    When you create a subscription, a primary user associated with the subscription is created automatically. Information about this primary user is provided in its own Primary User panel while all users associated with this subscription (including the primary user) display in the Users panel. To see all users, click View All on the Users panel.
  - Subscription Groups
    The Groups panel displays up to three groups of which the subscription is a member. To see all group memberships, click View All on the Groups panel.
  - Billing Cycle
    The Billing Cycle panel displays the billing cycle description, the start and end time and date of the current billing cycle, and the next billing cycle if it is set to change.
  - Subscription Balances
    Balances are listed in Main Balances or Other Balances. Both the Main Balances and Other Balances panels list balances belonging to the subscription.
  - Subscription Meters and Composite Meters
    Meters are listed in Composite Meters or Meters. Both the Composite Meters and Meters panels list up to three meters belonging to the subscription. These panels only display if a composite meter or meter exists.
  - Subscription Offers
    The Offers panel displays up to three product offers the subscription owns and the device status for the offer. If the offer has a cycle associated with it, the Cycled icon () appears next to it. To view all offers for a subscription, click View All.

      You can view details of a subscription's offer, such as the catalog ID or offer status.

      You can add a single offer to the subscription or to one of the devices associated with the subscription. Before you purchase an offer, you can view an estimate of the offer. After you purchase the offer, you can view a receipt for the offer.
    - Add Multiple Subscription Offers
      You can add multiple offers to the subscription or to one of the devices associated with the subscription. Before you purchase these offers, you can view an estimate of the offers. After you purchase the offers, you can view a receipt for the offers.
      - Configure a Subscription Offer's Type
        The option to define a subscription offer's type is available if offer extension types are defined or if preactive is available for that offer.
      - Configure a Subscription Offer's Parameter List
        If the catalog item associated with the purchased offer has parameters defined, then you can update the parameter values.
      - Configure a Subscription Offer's Contract Options
        If the subscription offer's catalog item is a service contract, you can define options for the selected contract.
      - Configure a Subscription Offer's Cycle Type
        If an offer cycle is associated with the offer and the cycle can be modified, you can make the following changes to the offer cycle. Some offer cycles cannot be changed from what is defined in pricing.
      - Add Purchase Packages to Multiple Subscription Offers
        When adding multiple subscription offers, you can create a new purchase package for the offers or add an existing purchase package to the offers.
    - Edit a Subscription Offer
      You can edit an offer by clicking on the Offers panel on the Subscription Summary page, Offer Details, or All Offers.
    - Add a Subscription Offer to a Package
      Add a subscription offer to a purchase package in the Offer Details page.
    - Activate a Subscription Offer
      Activate a subscription offer in the Offer Details page.
    - Suspend and Resume a Subscription Offer
      Suspend and resume a subscription offer in the Offer Details page. When suspending an offer, you have the option to define when both the suspension and resumption occurs.
    - Remove a Subscription Offer from a Package
      Remove a subscription offer from a purchase package in the Offer Details page.
    - Cancel a Subscription Offer
      Cancel a subscription offer in the Offer Details page.
  - Subscription Packages
    The Packages panel displays up to three purchase packages the subscription owns. The Cycle icon () indicates that the package has a cycle associated with it. To view all packages for a subscription, click View All. Packages can be sorted by either name or resource ID.
  - Managing Contracts
    For offers that have associated contracts, you can make payments on the contract, pay off the contract, or suspend and resume the offer. The contract continues until its set end date unless you cancel the offer.
  - Managing Device Sessions
    If you have permissions to view and/or delete _glossary/device.html sessions, use the Device Details page to view, validate, and delete sessions.
  - Additional Subscription Details
    You can view and edit additional information about subscriptions, such as view upcoming charges and events, specify payment methods for the subscription, view recent payments, and issue payment refunds.
  - Rehome a Subscription
    Use the Subscription Summary page to rehome a subscription and its sessions from one sub-domain to another sub-domain in a multi-domain platform.
- Managing Devices
  MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool allows you to assign devices to users and search for devices by Access Number, IMSI, Object ID, or External ID. If Login devices are enabled, you can search for devices by Login ID.
- Managing Groups
  A group is a collection of one or more subscriptions, users, other groups, or a combination of those. A group can belong to one other group only, but a subscription or user can belong to any number of groups. Each group can have one or more optional administrators (a subscription or user with an Admin user role). If an administrator is added, it must be an existing subscription or user but does not have to be a group member. Use the Search page to display information for a group.
- Viewing Offers
  To view all the current offers in the MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool database, click View Offers on the Home page or click the Offers tab in the header on any page other than the main page.
- Managing Bulk Operations
  To use a CSV file to add/modify subscriptions, groups, device, and users directly, click Bulk Operations on the Home page or click the Bulk Operations tab in the header on any page other than the main page. You must have the MTX_ROLE_BULK_OPS role to display this tab.

Configure a Subscription Offer's Parameter List

If the catalog item associated with the purchased offer has parameters defined, then you can update the parameter values.

Procedure

For the listed parameters, enter new values as needed. The parameter is read-only, but the parameter value can be updated. The default value, displayed in the placeholder, is used if no value is entered.
When you are done with the configuration, click Done.
