MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool Help describes how to use MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool to view and manage subscription and group account information, including purchased offers, services, and balance amounts. MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool users are granted privileges (including managing subscriptions and groups) based on the user role they are assigned. Log into MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool with the following procedure.
When you log into MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool, the Home page displays.
If enabled, use the debug mode to retrieve information about the MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool deployment for debugging issues. For more information, see the discussion about enabling debug mode in MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool in MATRIXX Web App Administration.
You can perform a general search for users, devices, groups, or subscriptions. In addition, you can search for an object by defining certain criteria. The available search criteria depends on the object type.
Use the User Summary page to display information for a user. Users have a many:many relationship with subscriptions and groups. If assigned the Admin user role, the user is the recipient of group notifications.
You can search for a subscription by using an External ID, Access Number, Login ID, Object ID, or IMSI.
In Subscriptions, you can create a new subscription. Creating a subscription also creates a user using the user's first and last names, contact information, and language information. The user created is the subscription's owner by default.
General Information displays the subscription details described in customer_manager/r_csr_h_sub_summary.html#r_csr_h_sub_summary__table_DFD7374D92D5490A960A571BAC602A8E.
Up to three devices display on the subscription's plan. To see all devices, click View All on the Devices panel. In addition, you can add new devices to the subscription's plan.
When you create a subscription, a primary user associated with the subscription is created automatically. Information about this primary user is provided in its own Primary User panel while all users associated with this subscription (including the primary user) display in the Users panel. To see all users, click View All on the Users panel.
The Groups panel displays up to three groups of which the subscription is a member. To see all group memberships, click View All on the Groups panel.
The Billing Cycle panel displays the billing cycle description, the start and end time and date of the current billing cycle, and the next billing cycle if it is set to change.
Balances are listed in Main Balances or Other Balances. Both the Main Balances and Other Balances panels list balances belonging to the subscription.
Meters are listed in Composite Meters or Meters. Both the Composite Meters and Meters panels list up to three meters belonging to the subscription. These panels only display if a composite meter or meter exists.
The Offers panel displays up to three product offers the subscription owns and the device status for the offer. If the offer has a cycle associated with it, the Cycled icon () appears next to it. To view all offers for a subscription, click View All.
The Packages panel displays up to three purchase packages the subscription owns. The Cycle icon () indicates that the package has a cycle associated with it. To view all packages for a subscription, click View All. Packages can be sorted by either name or resource ID.
For offers that have associated contracts, you can make payments on the contract, pay off the contract, or suspend and resume the offer. The contract continues until its set end date unless you cancel the offer.
If you have permissions to view and/or delete _glossary/device.html sessions, use the Device Details page to view, validate, and delete sessions.
You can view and edit additional information about subscriptions, such as view upcoming charges and events, specify payment methods for the subscription, view recent payments, and issue payment refunds.
Use the Subscription Summary page to rehome a subscription and its sessions from one sub-domain to another sub-domain in a multi-domain platform.
MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool allows you to assign devices to users and search for devices by Access Number, IMSI, Object ID, or External ID. If Login devices are enabled, you can search for devices by Login ID.
A group is a collection of one or more subscriptions, users, other groups, or a combination of those. A group can belong to one other group only, but a subscription or user can belong to any number of groups. Each group can have one or more optional administrators (a subscription or user with an Admin user role). If an administrator is added, it must be an existing subscription or user but does not have to be a group member. Use the Search page to display information for a group.
To view all the current offers in the MATRIXX Backoffice Customer Tool database, click View Offers on the Home page or click the Offers tab in the header on any page other than the main page.
To use a CSV file to add/modify subscriptions, groups, device, and users directly, click Bulk Operations on the Home page or click the Bulk Operations tab in the header on any page other than the main page. You must have the MTX_ROLE_BULK_OPS role to display this tab.
