Add a Subscription
In Subscriptions, you can create a new subscription. Creating a subscription also creates a user using the user's first and last names, contact information, and language information. The user created is the subscription's owner by default.
Procedure
- In the Home page, click Subscriptions.
- Click Add.

In Subscriptions, enter the following information:

(Optional) Enter the following information to create a device assigned to this
subscription:
- Type — If the device is a mobile device, select MtxMobileDeviceExtension. If the device is a login device, select MtxLoginDeviceExtension.
- External ID — An external ID that identifies the object.
- Extension Fields — Any custom fields (extensions) defined for this object.
- Mobile Devices Only:
- IMSI — Number up to 15 digits long that identifies the
SIM of a GSM/UMTS mobile device; for example,
14054123456789.Note: This property is optional if the
IMSI_FIELD_REQUIRED
flag in the settings.json file is set to false. By default, it is required. - Access Numbers — SIM numbers (MSISDN) that identify a unique subscription in the GSM/UMTS network for a mobile device. The Access Number must be an integer and is limited to 15 digits.
- IMSI — Number up to 15 digits long that identifies the
SIM of a GSM/UMTS mobile device; for example,
14054123456789.
- Login Devices Only:
- Login ID — The device login ID.
- Access IDs — Access IDs associated with the login device.

Click Create.
If subscription creation is successful, you can either click Go to subscription summary page to go to the Subscription Summary page for the subscription or click OK to stay on the Subscription page to add another subscription. In the Subscription Summary page, note the user created by default. To view the user's subscription or to edit the user's general information, use the User Summary page.Note: If you did not specify an External ID or a Name, the Subscription Summary page for the subscription shows the Object ID for the subscription; for example, Subscription 0-1-5-26. If you assigned an External ID, the External ID appears. If you assigned a Name, it appears instead of the External ID or Object ID.
