Deferred Alignment Change
If a deferred cycle alignment change for an independent purchased item cycle occurs at the end of the current cycle, when the current cycle period ends, the pending change is evaluated. If the modification is no longer valid, the purchased item cycle remains independent, and the pending cycle change is removed.
When a billing cycle is scheduled for a pending cycle change, for purchased item cycles currently aligned to the billing cycle, the current periods are updated to align with the billing cycle.
Note: If a purchased item cycle is aligned to a billing cycle, and the purchased item cycle is modified to align to a different cycle at the end of the current cycle, and the current
billing cycle period is terminated early, the current purchased item cycle period is not terminated because the purchased item cycle has become independent from the billing cycle
because of the modification.
By default, the MtxPurchasedItemCycleData ImmediateChange
value is
false
and any alignment changes are deferred. See the discussion
about modifying a purchased-item-cycle alignment in MATRIXX Pricing and Rating
for more information.
