Announcement Details Properties
You define announcement details on the Announcements Details tab. You can configure the following announcement details properties.

| Name | A unique name for the announcement details. Note: You must specify a name that is unique across all the following types of
actions:

| Description | Information about the purpose of the announcement. For example, the description could contain the message text for the announcement that will be played. |
| External ID | An optional field that can be set on MATRIXX pricing objects. |
| Start Date/Time | The day, month, and year when the announcement details become activated in the pricing
database. For revisions, the start date defaults to the date the revision is created. Setting future start dates allows you to have several inactive revisions, with each one becoming valid as soon as the start date occurs. Only one revision can be active in the system at one time. |
| Language | Sets the language to use for playing the announcement. Select the language from the list of available languages. Must match a language used for subscriber preferences. |
| Announcement Server | Sets the announcement server on which this announcement will be played. Select the announcement server from the list of available announcement servers. For Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) announcements, performed using the Diameter protocol, select the VoLTE announcement server. Otherwise, select a Camel announcement server. |
| Message ID | Sets the elementary message ID for this announcement. The announcement server selects the announcement to play based its elementary message ID. This means that you must specify an ID that corresponds to an elementary message ID on the announcement server. |
| Timeout in Seconds | The time, in seconds, allowed for playing the announcement before the announcement will timeout. |
| Announcement URI | A string value, used only by 5G services, to be used as an announcement reference. |
| Is Variable Announcement | Check box to select whether this
announcement is variable or fixed. When selected, the option to
Add Variables becomes enabled. You can
add up to five variables.
When unselected, it indicates that the announcement is fixed. |
| Variable List table | (Only applicable if Variable Announcement is selected.) Lists up to five
variables that will be substituted for actual values by the
announcement server when the announcement is played.
