Before you begin

Create the set of subscriber accounts for your MATRIXX environment.

About this task

A GL account selector table uses normalizer results in a decision table to determine the subscriber account for each charge record in an event that impacts a currency balance.

Procedure

  1. If necessary, open the GL account selector.
    1. In General Ledger Info, click the GL Account Selectors tab.
    2. Click the name of the GL account selector in the list.

    2. (Optional) Initially Description is empty, enter descriptive information about the item.
    3. (Optional) Initially External ID is empty, enter any alphanumeric character to serve as a unique ID on this pricing object. The External ID can be used for any reason that is meaningful to your implementation of MATRIXX Engine. External IDs are saved to the pricing configuration file and loaded into the Pricing database.
    4. Click Create.
  4. For Default Result, enter a default account name to use if the decision table does not select an account name.
  5. In the Decision Table pane, do one of the following.

  6. For each row, select the subscriber account name to be used if that row is selected.
Note: During rating, the GL account selector tables are examined in the order they are listed in GL processing. To change the order in which multiple tables are listed, click and drag a table to the new position in the list. All changes you make to the decision table are saved automatically.
  7. Click Save.
