Delete a Subscription Device

You can delete devices for a subscription or from the system. To delete a device from the system, the device must not be in the Active state.

Procedure

  1. To delete a subscription device, on the Home page or in Subscriptions, search for a subscription.
    If the subscription is found, the Subscription Summary page for the subscription opens.
  2. In Devices, click Remove the selected object in the Remove column for the device.
  3. Specify whether to remove the device from the subscription or remove it completely from the system.
    • Click Remove from Subscription to remove the device from the subscription.
    • Click Remove from System to completely remove the device from the system.
    • To cancel the operation and keep the device, click Cancel.
    Note: You can remove an Active device from a subscription, but to remove a device from the system, the device cannot be in the Active state. If the device is Active, you can edit the device status to make it Inactive and then delete it.
