Create or Change a Bundle Revision
A new revision of a bundle creates a new copy of a selected revision or version. The operation does not create a new pricing file in the pricing plan.
Procedure
- In Bundles, click a bundle from the list. Filter the list by typing a string in the Search field.
- In Edit Bundle, scroll down to Bundle Versions and click New Version to create the latest new version of the bundle, or click a bundle version to modify it.
-
In Edit Bundle
Version:
- (Optional) Change the Version Name field. Enter a different unique name for the new bundle version.
- (Optional) Change the Version Description. Enter any descriptive information about its purpose.
- (Optional) Change the Version External ID. Enter any alphanumeric character to serve as a unique ID on this pricing object. The external ID can be used for any reason that is meaningful to your implementation. External IDs are saved to the pricing configuration file and loaded into the Pricing database. The value is a string limited to 64 characters. The external ID can be used by the Subscriber Management API to purchase, cancel, and query bundles.
- Click in the Purchase Start Date field to display the calendar and change the date this revision is available for purchase. Leave this field empty to make the bundle available for purchase immediately.
- Click in the Purchase End Date field to display the calendar and change the date that this bundle is no longer available for purchase. Leave this field empty to make the revision effective indefinitely.
