Products
A product represents the provisioning of a service type when a catalog item is purchased for a subscription, device, or group. The products identify the service type, which in turn determines the pricing that can apply.
The product limits which price components can be used by the product offer and identifies the service type to which the product offer applies. The same product can be used by several product offers, which allows service providers to set up multiple pricing options for the same service. However, because a product offer is specific to a service type, a product offer can reference only one product.
A product can also have additional attributes defined for it that can be used as normalizer parameters that differentiate how the product behaves when it is added to a product offer.
