Configure Bundle General Properties

Use the General tab to specify general bundle properties.

Procedure

  1. In Edit Bundle Revision bundle_name, click the General tab.
  2. In Payment Method, leave this field empty to select Pay On Account, or select one of the payment options for this offer:
    • Pay On Account — Use the main currency balance.
    • Pay Now — Always use Pay Now. A payment method must be defined before using Pay Now.
    • Pay Now or Pay On Account — Use Pay Now if the subscriber or group wallet includes a payment method. Otherwise, use Pay On Account.
  3. In Revision Start Date, use the date picker to select the date on which the object becomes active in the pricing database and is first available for use. Alternatively, enter the date in the format YYYY-MM-DD. Optionally, enter a time for when the object becomes active. The default is midnight.
Note: The start date must be greater than the start date of the previous revision and less than the start date of the next revision.
  4. In Expiration Policy, specify whether bundled product offers should be canceled when the bundle expires.
    • None — (Default) No cancelation pricing or proration pricing is applied to bundled offers. Offers are invalid during rating.
    • Cancel — Triggers any cancelation pricing and proration processing for recurring charges associated with bundled offers. This makes the offers invalid during rating.
Important: A bundle cannot have an expiration policy of Cancel if it references an offer that contains a cancelation charge; bundled offers that include a cancelation charge are not canceled.
  5. Select an Expiration Notification Profile. Click Select to view the expiration notification profile list, click a profile, and click Select to apply it to the offer. Notification profiles determine the notification behavior for balance expirations.
Note: A warning displays if an expiration notification profile is not selected when you click Select.
For more information about notification profiles, see the discussion about changing a notification profile.
  6. To have a notification sent when the bundle is purchased, select Notifies on Purchase.
  7. To have a notification sent when the bundle is canceled, select Notifies on Cancel.
  8. To have a notification sent when the bundle is suspended, select Notifies on Suspend.
  9. To have a notification sent when the bundle is resumed, select Notifies on Resume.
  10. In Offer Life Cycle Profile, select the offer life cycle profile to determine the status definitions and transitions for this bundle. If none is selected, the default life cycle profile is used.
  11. Click Save.
