Sending ReleaseCall Instead of Continue in EventReportBCSM Requests
For calls using the CAP2 or CAP3 protocols, CCF sends a Continue operation on receipt of an EventReportBCSM(requests) operation for which eventTypeBCSM is not oAnswer or tAnswer by default. When CAMEL Gateway advanced options are enabled, you can configure, per voice charging service, to send ReleaseCall instead.
You enable CAMEL Gateway advanced options during engine configuration by answering 'y ' to the
following question:
Do you wish to configure advanced options (y/n)?y
To send ReleaseCall instead of Continue upon the receipt of EventReportBCSM operations, answer y to the following configuration question for the
voice charging service: Should ReleaseCall be sent on receipt of ERBCSM(EDP anything except answer, request) for CAP2 and CAP3(y/n)?
Note: For calls using the CAP4 protocol, CCF always sends ReleaseCall on receipt of EventReportBCSM operations for which eventTypeBCSM is not oAnswer or tAnswer.
