Configuring Routing Preferences

Configuring routing preferences allows you to define how routes are prioritized between CAMEL Gateway on each engine and Network Enablers.

By default, Call Control Framework (CCF) uses the same CAMEL Gateway to Network Enabler routing preferences on all engines.

If required, you can configure routing preferences on a per-engine basis instead. For example, a system with two engines and two Network Enablers (Network Enabler 1 and Network Enabler 2), might route CAMEL Gateway on all engines to Network Enabler 1 by default. You could configure routing preferences on a per engine basis to route CAMEL Gateway on engine 1 to Network Enabler 2, and CAMEL Gateway on engine 2 to Network Enabler 2.

You enable CAMEL Gateway routing configuration on a per-engine basis by answering y to the following create_config.info question:
Do you want to configure per-engine routing (y/n)?y
For example, the following configuration in create_config.info configures CAMEL Gateway on engine 1 to use Network Enabler 1 by preference, and CAMEL Gateway on engine 2 to use Network Enabler 2 by preference.
Note: Links configured in create_config.info with a lower numerical priority will be used before links with a higher numerical priority.
