Reset a Password for a User

Reset the account password for a My MATRIXX user.

About this task

A user who has forgotten the password associated with their My MATRIXX user account must have the password reset. A system administrator who has the required permissions can reset user passwords.

To reset a password for a user:

Procedure

  1. Log into My MATRIXX as a user who has the Global role of User Administration.
  2. Under Administration, click Users.
  3. In Users, click the name of the user who needs a reset password.
  4. In Edit User Info, in the User Details section, enter the reset password twice. The password you enter in the Password and Retype Password fields must match.
  5. Click Save.

Results

You have reset the user password. The next time the user logs in to My MATRIXX, the user must use the reset password. The user can change their password after login.
