Add a Technical User to a Pricing Domain

You can add a technical user to your pricing domain. Pricing administrators must have log in credentials for a pricing domain to manage the domain's pricing files. Credentials can be created for standard user privileges or administrator-type privileges that are based on the roles you assign the users when adding them to a domain.

Procedure

  1. Log into My MATRIXX as a user who has the Global role of User Administration.
  2. Under Administration, click Users.
  3. In Users, click the name of the user you want to add to the pricing domain.
  4. In Edit User Info, in the Domain Roles section, locate the pricing domain in the list that you want to add the user to. You can add a user to more than one pricing domain.
  5. Select the check boxes for the Domain role the user is authorized to have for each pricing domain you add them to.
For more information about each role, see the discussion about technical user roles.
  6. Click Save.
As the user who created the pricing domain, you inherit the same access privileges to the new pricing domain as you have for the pricing domain you are currently logged into. After creating the new pricing domain, users who have the Global role of User Administration can assign Domain roles to other users for the newly created pricing domain. For more information, see the discussion about technical user roles.
