Create a Repository Data Component Table
A repository data component table maps the rows of a decision table to a set of Sh repository data profiles. A repository data component table determines which Sh repository data component profile is applied to a specific product offer.
Before you begin
You must create a repository data component before creating a repository data component table.
About this task
A repository data component table uses normalizer results in a decision table to determine which Sh repository data profile is applied to a product offer.
Procedure
- In SH Repository Data, click the Repository Data Components tab and select the repository data component in which to create the repository data table.
- Click New Repository Data Table.
- Enter a unique name and optional description for the repository data component table.
- (Optional) In External ID, enter any alphanumeric character to serve as a unique ID on this pricing object. The external ID can be used for any reason that is meaningful to your implementation of MATRIXX Engine.
- For Default Result, select the default result to be used for any rows in the table that are not specified.

Select Decision Table, select a decision table
from the list, and click
Select. To filter the list, start typing the
decision table name in the
Search field. If the decision table does not
exist, click
Cancel, and then click
Create New Table to create one.
After a decision table is applied to the component table, its ID and name displays as a hyperlink in the Decision Table pane. To change the applied decision table, you can click the hyperlink to open Edit Decision Table. After making and saving changes, clicking Cancel returns you to the component table.
- For each row in the repository data component table, set the repository data profile to be used if that row is selected.
