View Details for a Group Offer

You can view the details for a group's offer, such as the catalog ID or offer status.

Procedure

  1. In Offers or All Offers, click the name of a specific offer.
    The following offer details appear:
    • Offer Details — Lists details of the offer.
    • Cycle — Appears if the offer has cycles associated with it. Click Cycle to show the Cycle information.
    • Contract — Appears if the offer has a contract associated with it. Click Contract to show the contract information.
    • Status — Click Status to view the offer's current status details.
    • Associated Balances — Click Associated Balances to show the details of associated balances for the offer.

    Value Description
    Icon If an icon is set for the catalog item for the offer, the icon appears; otherwise, the tag icon Tag the selected object appears.
    Package If the offer has an associated package, a link to the package.
    Type The offer type.
    ID Product offer ID generated from the engine when the offer is purchased.
    Name The name of the object.
    Description Product offer description.
    External ID An external ID that identifies the object.
    Catalog Item ID Catalog item ID associated with the offer.
    Purchase Time Time and date when the offer was purchased.
    Cancel Time If the offer has been cancelled, the time and date when it was cancelled.
    Effective Time Time and date when the offer is effective.
    Start Time Start time and date for the offer.
    End Time End time and date for the offer.
    Template ID ID of the offer template.
    Template Name Offer template name.
    Template Description Description of the offer template for the offer.
    Legal If legal metadata is set for the catalog item associated with the offer, it is displayed. This data can be a string or a clickable URL.
    Extension Fields Any custom fields (extensions) defined for this object.
    Associated Balances Lists any associated balances for the offer, including the balance name, the total balance configured for the offer, and a chart that shows how much of the balance has been used. Offers with debt balances have their debt balances shown here.
  2. To view the offer's current status details, click Status.
    The details of the status are listed as described in Status Details.

    Status Description The current status description (active or inactive).
    Status Class The current status class, which defines the behavior that is supported and the status transitions that are allowed.
    Status Value The life cycle status code that corresponds to the status class.
    Life Cycle Profile The life cycle profile that determines the status definitions and transitions for this offer.
  3. To view a list of the parameters defined for the catalog item associated with the offer and their corresponding values, click Parameter List. To edit the parameter values, click Edit the selected object. The parameter name cannot be edited.
  4. To view Cycle details, click Cycle.
    The details of the cycle are listed as described in Cycle Details. If the offer has a cycle associated with it that is aligned with a resource, Offer Details include a Cycle Details section.

    Value Description
    Cycle Type If Cycle Type is shown, indicates the cycle type (Billing Cycle, Balance Cycle, or Offer Cycle).
    Cycle Resource If the offer has a cycle associated with it that has an offer or balance resource associated with it, Cycle Resource appears and shows the name of the resource and a chart that displays the used and remaining resource balance.
    Cycle Start Time Start date and time for the cycle.
    Cycle End Time End date and time for the cycle.
    Cycle Time of Day Time of day when the cycle starts.
    Cycle Internal ID Interval ID for the Offer Cycle.
    Cycle Period Cycle period type.
    Cycle Offset The cycle offset.
    If the offer has a pending cycle, two sections are displayed: one for the Current Cycle and one for the Next Cycle.
    • The information for the Current Cycle is the same as that shown for an offer without a pending cycle.
    • If the offer has a cycle associated with it and is aligned with a resource (offer or balance), Next Cycle information includes the Cycle Type and any Cycle Resource associated with the Next Cycle.
  5. To edit the cycle end time:
    1. Click Edit the selected object in the Cycle Details panel.
    2. In Offer-Cycle Type, select Cycle End Time from the drop-down menu.
    3. In Offer-Cycle End Time, select the end time for the purchased offer from the datetime picker.
    4. Check Apply Cycle Immediately if you want the update to be applied immediately. Otherwise, the update is applied once the current cycle period has ended.
    5. Click Submit.
  6. To view contract information, click Contract.
    Contract details appear as listed in Contract Details.

    Contract Type Type of the contract; for example, Finance or Service.
    External ID An external ID that identifies the object.
    ID ID of the contract.
    Name The name of the object.
    Description Description of the contract.
    Start Time Start date and time for the contract.
    End Time End date and time for the contract.
    Status Status of the contract.
    Outstanding Principal Amount Principal amount owed.
    Installment Amount Amount due for each installment.
    Outstanding Installments Remaining installments left for the contract.
    Late Fees Late fees owed.
    Missed-Payment Amount Amount due for a missed payment.
    Principal Amount Original principal on the contract.
    Open Contract Whether the contract is an open contract. Open contracts have no expiration dates, only a start date.
    Commitment Period The period of time within the term of the contract where specific early termination charges (ETC) apply. See the following section for details. If no commitment period is defined, this field is None.
    Commitment-Period End Time The end date and time for the contract's commitment period as calculated by the MATRIXX Engine.
    Contract Term Term of the contract. This field is N/A for open contracts.
    Charging Frequency How often the contract payment amount is charged.
    Late Charge Amount Amount charged for a late payment.
    Late Charge Grace Period Grace period after which late fee is assessed.
    Termination Charge Charge for terminating the contract.
    Early-Termination Schedule
    ID ID of the early-termination schedule.
    External ID An external ID that identifies the early-termination schedule.
    Name Name of the early-termination schedule.
    Schedule Range
    ID ID of this early-termination schedule's schedule range.
    Name Name of this early-termination schedule's schedule range.
    Upper Bound The upper boundary of the current range. The lower boundary of the range is implicitly the upper boundary of the previous range.
    Payment Schedule
    ID ID of the payment schedule.
    External ID An external ID that identifies the payment schedule.
    Name Name of the payment schedule.
    Schedule Range
    ID ID of this payment schedule's schedule range.
    Name Name of this payment schedule's schedule range.
    Upper Bound The upper boundary of the current range. The lower boundary of the range is implicitly the upper boundary of the previous range.
    Amount The amount due for this upper bound.
  7. If there are Associated Balances for the offer, the Associated Balances panel appears. To view the associated balances, click Associated Balances.
    Associated Balances lists the name of each associated balance, the total balance available, and a chart that indicates how much of the balance has been used.
