CS1 INAP Timed Calls
The following two example message sequences are for CS1 INAP timed calls, where charging for calls is based on the number of seconds used.
Figure 1 shows the message sequence used when MATRIXX Engine releases a CS1 INAP timed call because the subscriber has run out of funds. In this scenario, the EventTypeBCSM parameter in the InitialDP is set to 2 (collectedInfo).
Figure 2 shows the message sequence used for a CS1 INAP timed call,
where:
- The EventTypeBCSM parameter in the InitialDP is set to 12 (termAttemptAuthorized).
- MATRIXX Engine sends a request to the MSC to play announcements to the subscriber.
- The call is disconnected when the subscriber hangs up.
