- Support for USSD Services
  Call Control Framework (CCF) supports making Mobile Application Part (MAP) Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) call out requests to deliver USSD notifications to a subscriber. CCF also supports USSD services for queries, call back, and interactive menus using MAP-Process-UnstructuredSS-Request messages, and MAP-UnstructuredSS-Request messages.

CS1 INAP Call With Custom ApplyCharging

This example message sequence is for a CS1 INAP charged call using a custom CS1 ApplyCharging operation.

Figure 1 shows the message sequence used for a CS1 INAP call for which MATRIXX Engine sends a request to the MSC to apply charging using a custom ApplyCharging operation. In this scenario:

A customized ASN.1 dictionary is used to define the ApplyCharging and ApplyChargingReport operations for CS1.
Selective updates are used to convert ApplyCharging operations from CAP3 to CS1, and to convert ApplyChargingReport operations from CS1 to CAP3.
The EventTypeBCSM parameter in the InitialDP is set to 2 (collectedInfo).
