A QoS profile defines the quality of service provided by a
specific policy profile. You can create QoS Info profiles and Default EPS
Bearer profiles.
Procedure

In QoS
Profiles, click New QoS Profile.

In Create New QoS
Profile, enter a name for the QoS profile.

(Optional) In Description,
enter descriptive information about the item.

Select one of the
following QoS profile types:
- QoS Info — The QoS is determined by the
settings in the QoS Info profile.
- Default EPS Bearer — The QoS is determined
by the default EPS Bearer QoS profile.

Click
Create.

Configure the QoS profile.
For QoS Info profiles:
-
(Optional) Select Use Extended Fields for 5G
RAN.
If you select this option, skip
6.d and
configure the following properties:
- Extended APN Aggregate Max Bitrate Download (kbps)
(Optional)
configure a source container, field, and tier (group objects
only) that MATRIXX Engine uses instead of the Extended APN Aggregate Max Bitrate
Download when available.
- Extended APN Aggregate Max Bitrate Upload
(Optional)
configure a source container, field, and tier (group objects
only) that MATRIXX Engine uses instead of the Extended APN Aggregate Max Bitrate
Upload when available.

Specify the APN QoS Treatment:

(Optional) Select Apn QoS Prefer Network if you want MATRIXX Engine to give preference to QoS-Info values requested by the network in Gx
CCR-[I|U] messages from the PCEF.

(Optional) Configure the
following properties:
Note: These properties are available only if you
did not select Use Extended Fields for 5G
RAN.
- APN Aggregate Max
Bitrate Download (bps)
(Optional) configure a source
container, field, and tier (group objects only) that MATRIXX Engine used instead of the APN Aggregate Max Bitrate Download
when available.
- APN Aggregate Max
Bitrate Upload (bps)
(Optional) configure a source container,
field, and tier (group objects only) that MATRIXX Engine uses instead of the APN Aggregate Max Bitrate Upload when
available.

Click Save.
For Default EPS Bearer profiles:

- Description
- QoS Class ID
- Priority Level
- Preemption Capability
- Preemption
