Change a Session Management Policy Component

You can change any aspect of a session management component, including policy tables, decision tables, and normalizers.

Procedure

  1. In Session Management Component, click a policy component name.
  2. In New Session Management Policy Component, change any of the following properties:
    • Name
    • Description
    • External ID
    • Start Date
    • Policy Basis
  3. Click Save.
    Note: If you change any values in the fields above, you must click Save again to persist your changes.
  4. In Session Management Policy Tables, add or delete policy tables, or click a policy table name to edit it.
    • To delete a policy table, click Remove the selected object in the row containing the table.
    • To move a policy table to a new location, click and drag the row.
  5. To change data modify details for a policy table, in Edit Session Management Policy Table:
    1. Click the Data Modify tab.
    2. In the Metadata pane, change metadata default values, or add new metadata.
    3. If required, change the default data modify profile.
    4. Click Save.
    5. In the decision table rows, change the metadata values and data modify profiles, as required.
