Create an Emergency Request

An emergency request defines the agreement with a third-party operator to allow usage when an inbound roamer makes a policy or usage request and an emergency identifier is included in that request.

Before you begin

You must create the subscription templates and emergency identifiers before you create an emergency request.

Procedure

  1. In Inbound Roamer, click the Emergency Requests tab.
  2. Click New Emergency Request Identifier.
  3. In Create New Emergency Request, enter values for the following properties:
    • Emergency Identifier (Select from the list of configured emergency identifiers.)
    • Subscription Template External ID
    • Purge Amount (The valid purge range is 1–24 hours and 1–10 days.)
    • Purge Unit (Select from hours or days.)
  4. Click Create.

Results

The roaming request is added to the list of roaming requests with the following information:
  • Emergency Identifier
  • Subscription Template External ID
  • Purge Device In
