System Monitoring and Control

Designed to be highly available, MATRIXX Engine is capable of being monitored and administered remotely. System health and performance are constantly monitored while collecting statistics on a configured interval for blade-level processes and cluster-level processes. These are stored in the statistics database.

Each MATRIXX server has an SNMP agent, a Cluster Manager, and a Process Controller that together monitor and manage the health and performance of all servers in an engine and try to correct issues when they occur.

For more information about maintaining, managing, and resolving issues with a MATRIXX Engine installation, see the discussion about administering MATRIXX Engine in MATRIXX Administration.
