CAMEL Gateway

In a MATRIXX environment in which Call Control Framework (CCF) is enabled, you can deploy multiple CAMEL Gateway servers in separate pods outside MATRIXX Engine.

In a Kubernetes cluster, you can deploy multiple cloud native CAMEL Gateway pods in the same access group as Network Enabler (NE). Each separate CAMEL Gateway pod connects to the processing pods in a specific MATRIXX Engine sub-domain.

The Route Cache for sub-domain routing is held on NE servers. When processing network traffic, NEs look up the sub-domain in the Route Cache and load share the traffic for each sub-domain across all the CAMEL Gateways on that sub-domain. CAMEL Gateways then load share the network traffic across all active processing servers to which they are connected.
