The following information describes the tasks that can be performed using the My MATRIXX Home menu.
Pricing Repository
The Pricing Repository interfaces enable you to view a history of changes made to a _glossary/pricing_domain.html, to view a list of files that have been changed in a domain, and to synchronize your local workspace with the _glossary/pricing_repository.html by updating, committing, and reverting files in your pricing domain.
Synchronizing Changes
You can synchronize your local workspace with the _glossary/pricing_repository.html by updating the files in your workspace with changes in the repository, by committing changes in your workspace to the pricing repository, and by reverting changes in your workspace.
Compare Object Versions
You can view the differences between the current version of an object and the original object or the latest pricing repository version. This information is view-only and cannot be saved. Additionally, catalog items and bundles have their own UI for viewing version differences. For more information, see the discussion about comparing these objects.

- About My MATRIXX Help
  My MATRIXX Help provides information about My MATRIXX, a web application that offers a central location for creating pricing plans and configuring MATRIXX charging and rating behaviors. My MATRIXX is intended for pricing administrators who are responsible for creating and maintaining pricing plans and for IT administrators or developers who configure the rating and charging behavior of the online charging system.

  The following information describes the My MATRIXX interface.
- Using My MATRIXX
  You use My MATRIXX to validate and compile the pricing configuration file, compile pricing, and set up and manage user roles and domains; create and manage catalog items and catalogs, manage eligibility features and rules, and manage the Normalizers interface; create and manage balances, pricing, offers and bundles, general components, and application-related components; and policies for charging and rating. Use General Configuration to create components that support pricing items and charging functionality such as announcements pricing components, attribute definitions, denial codes, products, decision tables, Final Unit Indication (FUI) profiles and generators, general ledger transaction types, notification profiles, normalizer templates, and subscriber information query actions, profiles, and generators.

  The following information describes the tasks that can be performed using the My MATRIXX Home menu.
  - Home Menu Tasks
    Use the Home menu to perform the following tasks:
  - Pricing Construction / Loading
    Pricing Construction / Loading contains interfaces that enable you to schedule, compile, and validate a production version and a development version of a pricing configuration file. After the pricing compilation has been scheduled and compiled, it can be loaded and deployed onto an engine. If your engine has multiple sub-domains, each sub-domain must have the same base pricing loaded or a version of the same base pricing. You must have proper permissions to perform these tasks.
  - Pricing Repository
    The Pricing Repository interfaces enable you to view a history of changes made to a _glossary/pricing_domain.html, to view a list of files that have been changed in a domain, and to synchronize your local workspace with the _glossary/pricing_repository.html by updating, committing, and reverting files in your pricing domain.
    - Synchronizing Changes
      You can synchronize your local workspace with the _glossary/pricing_repository.html by updating the files in your workspace with changes in the repository, by committing changes in your workspace to the pricing repository, and by reverting changes in your workspace.
      - Compare Object Versions
        You can view the differences between the current version of an object and the original object or the latest pricing repository version. This information is view-only and cannot be saved. Additionally, catalog items and bundles have their own UI for viewing version differences. For more information, see the discussion about comparing these objects.
      - Update Your Workspace
        Updating your local workspace retrieves the latest versions of all pricing files from the _glossary/pricing_repository.html, including new and changed files. Any files that have been deleted from the repository are removed from the local workspace during the update process.
      - Revert Changes to Your Workspace
        Reverting changes to your workspace restores all catalog items to the state they were in when the workspace was last updated from the _glossary/pricing_repository.html.
      - Commit Changes to the Pricing Repository
        Committing changes to a _glossary/pricing_repository.html copies all saved files in a user's workspace to the pricing repository. The commit operation automatically archives all local changes to the pricing repository (an SVN repository directory) and allows other pricing administrators to access the updated files in the pricing repository when they update their workspace.
      - Interface Controls — Synchronize Changes
        The Synchronize Changes interface provides the following controls.
    - View Change History
      Use the View Change History interface to display each SVN operation applied to a domain, including upgrade, import, commit, and revert operations.
    - View File History
      Use the View File History interface to display all files in a domain and the latest change to them.
  - Administration
    Administration interfaces enable you to set up and manage user roles, domains, and notes.
  - System
    System interfaces enable you to manage the mdc_config_custom.xml file, manage workspace health, and view the status of running web applications and the configuration they are using.
- Catalog Configuration
  Catalog Configuration contains the Catalog Items interface that you use to create, change, or delete catalog items; the Eligibility interface to manage eligibility features and rules to determine whether a subscriber, group, or device is eligible for a catalog item; and the Normalizers interface you use to edit normalizers.
- Charging Configuration
  Charging Configuration has the interfaces you use to create and manage balance, pricing, product offer and bundle, general, and application-related components.
- Policy Configuration
  Policy configuration components are used by MATRIXX Charging Application and MATRIXX Policy Application for charging and rating.

Compare Object Versions

You can view the differences between the current version of an object and the original object or the latest pricing repository version. This information is view-only and cannot be saved. Additionally, catalog items and bundles have their own UI for viewing version differences. For more information, see the discussion about comparing these objects.

Procedure

Under Pricing Repository, click Synchronize Changes.
In the Version Difference column of the object you want to compare, click Compare Options and select one of the following options to display in the View Object Difference page:
- Show me my changes against original object — Displays a table that lists the changes you made to the object compared to the original version of the object. A newly created or copied object that has not been committed to the repository is considered an original object. If this option is selected, edits to these objects show up as changes against an original object.
- Show me my changes against latest repository — Displays a table that lists the changes you made to the object compared to the latest version of the object that is saved in the pricing repository. If this option is selected, changes to a newly created or copied object that has not been committed to the repository are not shown.
Note: Compare Options is available regardless of whether changes have been made to the object. Compare Options is not available when:
- The object's status is deleted.
- The logged-in user is a commercial user. The Version Difference column does not display for commercial users because they cannot view the differences for a commercial object created for another tenant.
Enter a search criteria to filter the table. The table filters as you type.
If the selected object is a catalog item, you can click the ID of the item listed in the View Object Difference page to open the catalog item's edit page, which also has its own comparison tool accessed by clicking Choose revision to compare with.
