Add Activation Filters
You use the Activation tab to specify an activation filter. When a filter is specified, an offer must satisfy all activation elements in the filter to activate the offer. You also use this tab to edit and delete activation filters. The default is no activation requirements. This tab is only valid for subscription offers.
About this task
By default, an offer is activated the first time a subscriber uses it (no activation filter).
Procedure
- In Edit Offer Revision offer_name, click the Activation tab.
- (Optional) Select Activate with Usage to activate the offer on first usage.
- (Optional) Click Add Filter to specify a usage filter that must be satisfied to activate the offer.

In Add
Filter, click an activation filter in the
list.
Note: Add is disabled until you select a filter.

Click Add.
The element is added to the list of required activation elements. Repeat this step as necessary.

(As needed) To edit or view details for an activation filter, click the filter
name in the activation element list.
The Edit Filter list appears, showing the filter elements. Edit this list as necessary.

(As needed) Delete an activation filter by clicking in the activation filter row.
The activation filter is removed from the list.
- Click Save.
