Using My MATRIXX
You use My MATRIXX to validate and compile the pricing configuration file, compile pricing, and set up and manage user roles and domains; create and manage catalog items and catalogs, manage eligibility features and rules, and manage the Normalizers interface; create and manage balances, pricing, offers and bundles, general components, and application-related components; and policies for charging and rating. Use General Configuration to create components that support pricing items and charging functionality such as announcements pricing components, attribute definitions, denial codes, products, decision tables, Final Unit Indication (FUI) profiles and generators, general ledger transaction types, notification profiles, normalizer templates, and subscriber information query actions, profiles, and generators.
Viewing Pricing Item Object Relationships
You can view object relationships for any pricing item in My MATRIXX using the Reference Information Panel, which is accessed using a pull-out on the left of every Edit object page.

- About My MATRIXX Help
  My MATRIXX Help provides information about My MATRIXX, a web application that offers a central location for creating pricing plans and configuring MATRIXX charging and rating behaviors. My MATRIXX is intended for pricing administrators who are responsible for creating and maintaining pricing plans and for IT administrators or developers who configure the rating and charging behavior of the online charging system.

    Log into My MATRIXX.
  - Searching for Objects in My MATRIXX
    In My MATRIXX, you can use the search field or SQL LIKE queries to search for any object of a pricing plan that you have created for your MATRIXX implementation. You can also perform global searches to search for all the items that match a global search string.

    You can view object relationships for any pricing item in My MATRIXX using the Reference Information Panel, which is accessed using a pull-out on the left of every Edit object page.

    Access the Recent list by clicking or hovering over Recent in the My MATRIXX toolbar. The Recent list displays the 20 most recently viewed pages. Clicking on a pricing item in the list opens the edit page of that pricing item. The Recent list is domain-specific.

    When navigating through My MATRIXX, you can bookmark pages to revisit previous tasks.
  - Managing Added Objects
    When selecting an object to be added to an existing object (for example, adding an announcement to an announcement profile), some edit pages allow you to add, delete, or edit the object being added.

    When making changes in the edit UIs, My MATRIXX verifies that all your changes have been saved.
  - Change Your User Password
    If you know your current My MATRIXX account password, you can change it. If you do not know your My MATRIXX account password, a system administrator who has the Global role of User Administration must reset the password for you.
  - Metadata
    Metadata summarizes basic information about other data and makes working with specific data easier. Metadata provides information about pieces of information that have meaning in relation to another piece of information in My MATRIXX.

  Catalog Configuration contains the Catalog Items interface that you use to create, change, or delete catalog items; the Eligibility interface to manage eligibility features and rules to determine whether a subscriber, group, or device is eligible for a catalog item; and the Normalizers interface you use to edit normalizers.

Viewing Pricing Item Object Relationships

You can view object relationships for any pricing item in My MATRIXX using the Reference Information Panel, which is accessed using a pull-out on the left of every Edit object page.

Most pricing items that you manage using My MATRIXX are database objects, such as catalog items, offers, bundles, and their components. If you click a pricing item object to edit it, a rectangular pull-out handle on the left of every Edit page displays the relationships between that object and any others in your MATRIXX implementation. This example shows the pull-out on the left side of Edit Offer Product for a mtx_BAL_POSTPAID_A product offer.

Click this pull-out to open the Reference Information Panel, which lists the top-level pricing item objects that the selected object references by category, the objects that reference the selected object, and a list of tags associated with the selected object. For each list, a maximum of 50 objects are listed by default. If more than 50 references exist, click show more... to view the full list of references.

Tip: Use Search to list object references. To find objects that reference a particular object, enter that object's name in the Search field and click Search. A list of objects that reference that object displays. For example, to display a list of objects that reference balance tag BT1, enter BT1 in the Search field.

Object relationships are listed as embedded hierarchies. Click a specific object entry to expand the hierarchy. The first level returns a maximum of 50 items. Levels below that return all items. Click the name of a specific object with an arrow to go to its edit page.

Resize the Reference Information Panel by dragging it to the desired size using either the handle or the bottom right corner. The resize is maintained even if the panel is closed and does not go back to the default size until the page is reloaded. The tag table does not resize when the panel is resized.

Close the panel by clicking either the handle or Close the selected object in the upper right corner.
