Create a Global Product Offer
You can create global product offers that contain the standard pricing for a service or supplemental pricing for a service. Supplemental product offers contain pricing that can be applied in addition to the standard pricing during rating. When you provision your system with a global product offer, the offer is automatically available with no purchase of the offer required. The global offer is available during rating to the subscriber, group, or device that has a balance associated with the usage components defined for the global offer. Global offers can support only one version. The version can have multiple revisions.
Before you begin
Create the price components, parameter definitions, priorities, tax components, custom fields, and attributes that the global product offer will contain. If the product offer will not be supplemental, and you use priority generators to determine charging order, also create the priority generator. For more information about priority generators, see the discussion about offer priority generators.
