Converged Charging Microservice

The Converged Charging Microservice converts 5G charging data requests to Gy credit control requests and returns a 5G charging data response to the SMF.

In Figure 1, an HTTP/2 5G charging data request is sent from CHF Proxy to CHF Diameter Adapter, where the request is mapped into a Gy credit control request before it is sent to the external OCS. The external OCS replies to CHF Diameter Adapter with a Gy credit control answer, which is then mapped into an HTTP/2 5G charging data response before it is returned to CHF Proxy. This diagram shows the flow:

In Figure 2, a Gy reauthorization request is sent from the external OCS to the CHF Diameter Adapter, where the request is mapped into an HTTP/2 5G charging notify request before it is sent to CHF Proxy. CHF Proxy replies to CHF Diameter Adapter with an HTTP/2 5G charging notify response, which is then mapped into a Gy reauthorization answer before it is returned to the OCS.
