Charging for CS1 INAP Calls

Call Control Framework (CCF) provides support for processing and applying charging for voice calls that use the CS1 INAP protocol.

CCF can handle charging for CS1 INAP calls in the following ways:
  • By monitoring the call length using internal timers, and then applying charging based on the call duration. For more information, see the discussion about CS1 timed calls.
  • Through the Temporary Service Access Number (TSAN) reorigination service. For more information, see the discussion about CS1 reorigination using TSANs.
  • By using custom CS1 ApplyCharging and ApplyChargingReport operations. For more information, see the discussion about custom ApplyCharging and ApplyChargingReport operations.
In addition, for CS1 calls, you can configure CCF to handle custom FurnishChargingInformation operation parameters. For more information, see the discussion about sending FurnishChargingInformation (FCI).
