Network Integration
Network integration functionality includes the following enhancements in version 5290 of the MATRIXX software.
New features in this release include the following:
External Diameter Gateway
- When using the External Diameter Gateway, you can turn off the Diameter Gateway. For more information, see the discussion about turning off the Diameter Gateway in MATRIXX Diameter Integration.

You can now set the Host-IP-Address AVP in Diameter CEA messages. If you do not set the following property, it defaults to the address of the local
host:
diameter.hostIpAddressType

You can now configure Transport Layer Security (TLS) for External Diameter Gateway and Diameter Notifier.

SBA Gateway
- NRF Client now allows HTTP/2 and TLS/mTLS connections to the NRF.
- Distributed tracing is supported for SBA Gateway using OpenTelemetry. For more information, see MATRIXX Monitoring and Logging.
- SBA Gateway can now connect to Traffic Routing Agent (TRA) using HTTP/2.
- SBA Gateway can now connect to Traffic Routing Agent using transport layer security (TLS).
- CHF Proxy now supports OpenTelemetry for tracing.
- A client-side load balancer has been added to CHF Proxy to balance internal HTTP/2 cluster traffic without an ingress.
