Create a Normalizer Value List

Create a normalizer value list that can be referenced by multiple normalizers.

Procedure

  1. In Normalizer Value Lists, click New Normalizer Value List.
  2. In Create New Normalizer Value List:
    • In Name, enter a unique name.
    • (Optional) In Description, enter descriptive information about the item.
    • (Optional) In External ID, enter any alphanumeric character to serve as a unique ID on this pricing object. The external ID can be used for any reason that is meaningful to your implementation of MATRIXX Engine. External IDs are saved to the pricing configuration file and loaded into the Pricing database.
  3. Click Create.
  4. In Edit Normalizer Value List, edit the name, description, and external ID as needed.
  5. To add a value to the normalizer value list, click New Value.
  6. In Create New Value:
    • In Name, enter a unique name.
    • (Optional) In Description, enter descriptive information about the item.
    • To assign a color to the list value, select a color from the color palatte. If a value is selected for use in a normalizer, this color displays as the background color for this value's row in the Rows table.
  7. Click Create.
    The value is added to the Values table.
  8. To edit values in the Values table:
    • Click within the Name and Description cells to edit these values.
    • To change the color, do one of the following:
    • Click Delete the selected object to delete the value. Values that are in use cannot be deleted.
