Configure Catalog Metadata Properties
Use the Metadata tab to add metadata parameters to the catalog.
Procedure

In Catalogs, click a catalog to edit.
You can filter the list by using the Search field.
- In Edit Catalog, click the Metadata tab.
- Click Add Metadata to add a new parameter.

Do one of the following, based on the type of metadata parameter you are
adding:
- (Custom) To add a custom metadata parameter, select Custom, enter a unique name for the parameter, select a data type, and enter the value for the custom parameter. The data type must be one of: String, Integer, BigDecimal, Boolean, or Long.
- (Icon Reference) To add the
predefined metadata parameter for an icon reference, select
Icon and enter the value for the parameter.
Typically, the value is set to the URL that points to the image to be
displayed in the UI. The image:
- Replaces the "tag" icons on the subscriber and group summary pages in the Offers panel.
- Replaces the "tag" icons on the offer detail pages (subscriber, groups, and general offers detail pages).
- Appears in a column on the all offers page (subscribers, groups, and general offers).
- Appears on the add offer page for subscribers and groups.
- (Legal Reference) To add the predefined metadata parameter for a legal text reference, select Legal and enter the value for the parameter. Legal text appears on the offer detail pages (subscribers, groups, and general offers).
- (Display Order) To add the
predefined metadata parameter for a MATRIXX display order, select
MtxDisplay and enter the value for the item.
The value (a string) is set to
none
orhidden
to indicate not to show the item in the UI for standard users.
Repeat this step as necessary. - (Optional) Click in a value field to edit the value.
- (Optional) Click in the row of a metadata parameter to remove it.
- Click Save.
