Create a Rollover Table

A rollover table maps the rows of a decision table to a set of operator-defined rollover profiles. A rollover table determines which rollover profile is applied to a specific balance.

Before you begin

You must create a rollover component before creating a rollover table.

About this task

A rollover table uses normalizer results in a decision table to determine which rollover profile is applied to a balance.

Procedure

  1. In Rollover, click the Rollover Components tab, and select the rollover component in which to create the rollover table.
  2. Click New Rollover Table.
  3. Enter a unique name and optional description for the rollover table.
  4. (Optional) In External ID, enter any alphanumeric character to serve as a unique ID on this pricing object. The external ID can be used for any reason that is meaningful to your implementation of MATRIXX Engine. External IDs are saved to the pricing configuration file and loaded into the Pricing database.
  5. For Default Result, select the default result to be used for any rows in the table that are not specified.
  6. Click Select Decision Table, select a decision table from the list, and click Select. To filter the list, start typing the decision table name in the Search field. If the decision table does not exist, click Cancel, and click Create New Table to create one.
After a decision table is applied to the component table, its ID and name displays as a hyperlink in the Decision Table pane. To change the applied decision table, you can click the hyperlink to open Edit Decision Table. After making and saving changes, clicking Cancel returns you to the component table.
  7. For each row in the rollover table, set the rollover profile to be used if that row is selected.
