Gx Policy Event Trigger Values

MATRIXX Policy includes default event trigger definitions.

Default Gx Event Trigger Values lists the default supported event triggers. You can add to this list by adding an event trigger in My MATRIXX. For more information, see the discussion about event triggers.
Table 1. Default Gx Event Trigger Values
Trigger Name Trigger Value Description
SGSN_CHANGE 0 Change in the serving Service GPRS Support Node (SGSN) address.
QOS_CHANGE 1 Change of Quality of Service (QoS).
RAT_CHANGE 2 Change of Radio Access Technology (RAT) type.
TFT_CHANGE 3 Change in the Traffic Flow Template (TFT).
PLMN_CHANGE 4 Change of SGSN Mobile Network Code (MNC) Mobile Country Code (MCC) tuple.
LOSS_OF_BEARER 5 Bearer associated with PCC rules was lost.
IP-CAN_CHANGE 7 Change of IP Connectivity Access Network (IP-CAN) type.
QOS_CHANGE_EXCEEDING_AUTHORIZATION 11 Change in requested QoS beyong the authorized values for a specific bearer.
RAI_CHANGE 12 Change in Routing Area Identity (RAI).
USER_LOCATION_CHANGE 13 Change in user location.
NO_EVENT_TRIGGERS 14 No event triggers associated with the Gx session.
OUT_OF_CREDIT 15 Credit limit was reached.
REALLOCATION_OF_CREDIT 16 Subsequent quota granted.
REVALIDATION_TIMEOUT 17 Upon revalidation timeout, Policy and Charging Enforcement Function (PCEF) informs the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF).
UE_IP_ADDRESS_ALLOCATE 18 Allocate an IPv4 address for a dual-stack capable UE.
UE_IP_ADDRESS_RELEASE 19 Release an IPv4 address for a dual-stack capable UE.
DEFAULT_EPS_BEARER_QOS_CHANGE 20 Change in the Evolved Packet System (EPS) Bearer QoS.
AN_GW_CHANGE 21 Change of serving Access Node Gateway Address.
SUCCESSFUL_RESOURCE_ALLOCATION 22 Resources for a rule were successfully allocated.
RESOURCE_MODIFICATION_REQUEST 23 PCC rules were requested for a resource modification request initiated by the UE.
PGW_TRACE_CONTROL 24 Trace activation or deactivation request for the Packet Data Network Gateway (P-GW). Trace activation is indicated with the Trace-Data AVP (TraceData MDC field) with relevant trace parameters. Trace deactivation is indicated with the Trace-Reference AVP (TraceId MDC field).
UE_TIME_ZONE_CHANGE 25 The time zone in which the UE is located has changed. The new value of the UE's time zone is indicated in the 3GPP-MS-TimeZone AVP.
TAI_CHANGE 26 Change in the Tracking Area Identity (TAI).
ECGI_CHANGE 27 Change in the E-UTRAN Cell Global Identifier (ECGI).
CHARGING_CORRELATION_EXCHANGE 28 Reports the access network charging identifier.
APN_AMBR_MODIFICATION_FAILURE 29 APN AMBR modifications failed.
USER_CSG_INFORMATION_CHANGE 30 Change in the Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) information.
USAGE_REPORT 33 Reports accumulated usage volume when the usage threshold provided by the Application Function (AF) has been reached.
DEFAULT_EPS_BEARER_QOS_MODIFICATION_FAILURE 34 Default EPS Bearer QoS modifications failed.
USER_CSG_HYBRID_SUBSCRIBED_INFORMATION_CHANGE 35 A user enters or leaves a hybrid cell to which the user is subscribed.
USER_CSG_HYBRID_UNSUBSCRIBED_INFORMATION_CHANGE 36 A user enters or leaves a hybrid cell to which the user is not subscribed.
ROUTING_RULE_CHANGE 37 Change in a routing rule
MAX_MBR_APN_AMBR_CHANGE 38 When used in a CCR command, this value indicates that the PCEF generated the request because there has been a change of MBR/APN-AMBR, Maximum-Bandwidth AVP is required to be provided in the same request with the new value. This event trigger needs no subscription. Applicable only to 3GPP-GPRS and 3GPP-EPS access types.
APPLICATION_START 39 An application has started.
APPLICATION_STOP 40 An application has stopped.
ADC_REVALIDATION_TIMEOUT 41 Cause the PCEF to trigger a PCRF interaction to request ADC rules from the PCRF for an established IP CAN session.
