Calling Party SCCP Address Configuration for Requests
You can configure the calling party SCCP address for request messages.
Sample Calling Party SCCP Address Configuration
- MAP call out requests.
- USSD notifications.
- MATRIXX-initiated call requests for USSD callbacks.
You can configure multiple SCCP addresses, where each SCCP address is based on the called global title.
Parameter | Description | Default Value |
---|---|---|
SCCP Address | Specifies the SCCP address type to use in the request message. Valid values are:
create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:What SCCP address should be used for requests from this blade (pc/gt)? |
gt |
GT Type | Specifies the global title type to use. Valid values are as follows:
create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:What is the SCCP global title type for requests from this blade? |
4 |
GT Digits | Specifies the global title digits to use. You must specify a string of digits. Important: You must specify a valid global title. Do
not accept the default value.
create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:What are the SCCP global title digits for requests from this blade? |
12345678 |
GT Nature of Address | Specifies the nature of address of the global title. Specify a value in the range 0 to
127:

4 |
GT Translation Type | Specifies the global title translation type. Specify a value in the range 0 to 255. create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:What is the SCCP global title translation type for requests from this blade? |
1 |
GT Numbering Plan |
Specifies the numbering plan of the global title. Specify a value in the range 0 to 15:

1 |
Point Code | If SCCP Address is set to pc, specifies the point code to use in
the SCCP address. create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:What is the SCCP point code for requests from this blade? |
402 |
SCCP SSN | The SCCP sub-system number (SSN) to use for MAP callouts. create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:What is the SCCP sub-system number for MAP call outs from this blade? |
147 |
Number of Additional SCCP Addresses | The number of other required calling party SCCP addresses on a per- SCCP-called global title basis for MAP callouts and call initiation attempts. create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:How many additional SCCP addresses does this blade require for requests? |
0 |
If you set the required number of other calling party SCCP addresses to 1 or more, then the following questions are asked per SCCP address. Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What destination SCCP GT prefix is this address for? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What destination SCCP global title type is this address for? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What destination SCCP global title nature of address is this address for? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What SCCP address should be used for requests from this blade (pc/gt)? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What is the SCCP global title type for requests from this blade? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What are the SCCP global title digits for requests from this blade? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What is the SCCP global title nature of address for requests from this blade? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What is the SCCP global title translation type for requests from this blade? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What is the SCCP global title numbering plan for requests from this blade? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What is the SCCP sub-system number for MAP call outs from this blade? Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:SccpAddress1:What is the SCCP sub-system number for MATRIXX initiated calls from this blade? |
||
Call Initiation SCCP SSN | The SCCP sub-system number (SSN) to use for MATRIXX initiated calls, for example for
USSD call back. create_config.info question: Engine 1:Cluster 1:LogicalBlade 1:What is the SCCP sub-system number for MATRIXX initiated calls from this blade? |
