Post-Answer Announcement Menus
Call Control Framework (CCF) supports post-answer announcement menus. You use a post-answer announcement menu to play a prompt and collect announcement to the called party (the B party) after the call is answered.
You configure the announcement menu service for a post-answer announcement menu in the
same way as for other announcement menu services.
Note: You must ensure that you select
the Start menu action after call is answered option in the
PACUI PostRating profile for the first menu in the menu hierarchy. When the profile
is selected during rating, after the call is answered, CCF sends a
PromptAndCollectUserInformation (PACUI) operation to the announcement server with
the list of announcements to play to the B party.
For more information about configuring announcement menus, see the discussion about configuring menu services.
For information about configuring announcements components and PostRating profiles, see the discussions about configuring announcements and configuring PostRating profiles in My MATRIXX Help.
Important: CCF uses a non-standard message sequence for implementing
post-answer menus that is not supported by standards compliant MSCs.
