Managing Certificates

MATRIXX uses certificates signed by a trusted certificate authority, or validated by other means, to establish secure communications with another party with the corresponding private key.

You can get a certificate from a certificate authority (CA) or from an in-house CA.
CAUTION: You can create a self-signed certificate during development, but do not use self-signed certificates in a production environment.

Many of the examples in MATRIXX Security reference SBA Gateway. For more information about managing SBA Gateway, see MATRIXX 5G Integration.

The examples in MATRIXX Security show how to use different types of certificates.
