Administering MATRIXX Traffic Routing Agent
The topics in this section describe administering Traffic Routing Agent (TRA) servers, including starting and stopping Traffic Routing Agent nodes and clusters. The information in this section applies to all Traffic Routing Agent functions unless otherwise noted.
During start-up, runtime, and shutdown operations, Traffic Routing Agent errors, exceptions, and SNMP traps are written to the /var/log/tra/mtx_debug.log file on the Traffic Routing Agent server.
These are the maximum size messages that TRAs can process:
- TCP-based messages: 128 × 1024 bytes
- Diameter messages: 256 × 1024 bytes
- MATRIXX Data Container (MDC) messages: 1024 × 1024 bytes
Messages larger than these maximums fail and the Traffic Routing Agent returns an error message.
