Diameter Quantity Unit
The Diameter
Requested-Service-Unit
and
Used-Service-Unit
AVPs can contain AVPs which are used to
determine the quantity unit for the incoming event.
- 0 = none
- 100 = seconds
- 200 = bytes
Requested-Service-Unit
and
Used-Service-Unit
AVPs, they are mapped to the MDC
fields described in
Unit Fields and Values.

The unit values determine how
the
QuantityUnit
field value is set. At a maximum, only one
quantity unit AVP should be present in the
Requested-Service-Unit
and
Used-Service-Unit
AVPs. When none are present, the
QuantityUnit
field value is set to
NONE
, meaning that the message is a single event that
does not have a duration or quantity. When there are more than one present, the
last one in the network message that has a nonzero value determines the
QuantityUnit
field value.
For more information about the QuantityUnit
field and other MtxUsageEvent
fields, see MATRIXX Integration.
