- About MATRIXX Rerating
  THE MATRIXX RERATING SOFTWARE PROGRAM IS EXPERIMENTAL AND IS NOT AUTHORIZED FOR PRODUCTION USE. IT IS PROVIDED “AS-IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- MATRIXX Rerating Overview
  Use MATRIXX Rerating to reprocess messages for a range of dates previously processed by the Charging Server that were determined to have incorrect results due to errors in the pricing or tax configuration, or when a subscription was incorrectly provisioned, after the issue is resolved. MATRIXX Rerating supports past billing cycle periods for postpaid subscriptions.

  A deployment of the MATRIXX Rerating components consists of containers installed with a Helm chart in a multi-node Kubernetes cluster.
  - Obtain and Host Images
    Obtain the images, Helm chart, and utility scripts from MATRIXX, and host the images in an image repository so that they can be retrieved and instantiated as containers.
  - Installing and Configuring Helm
    Before installing, obtain the Docker images for the rerating components and host them in your image repository. To use the MATRIXX Rerating Helm chart, install the Helm software, create a chart repository, and load the chart into your repository.

    Install the MATRIXX Rerating Helm chart with the helm install command.
  - Configuring MATRIXX Rerating Using Helm
    Configure MATRIXX Rerating by providing values for properties in a Helm values file. In your Helm values file, you only set the values you need. Set an object to a blank or empty object to effectively remove the default value for that property.

    You can apply configuration for MATRIXX Rerating applications in several different ways. These methods are not mutually exclusive and can be used together.

Installing and Configuring MATRIXX Rerating

A deployment of the MATRIXX Rerating components consists of containers installed with a Helm chart in a multi-node Kubernetes cluster.

Do not proceed with rerating installation and configuration until you enable MATRIXX Rerating and specify a Rerating Engine. For more information, see the MATRIXX Rerating overview.
