- About MATRIXX Rerating
  THE MATRIXX RERATING SOFTWARE PROGRAM IS EXPERIMENTAL AND IS NOT AUTHORIZED FOR PRODUCTION USE. IT IS PROVIDED “AS-IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- MATRIXX Rerating Overview
  Use MATRIXX Rerating to reprocess messages for a range of dates previously processed by the Charging Server that were determined to have incorrect results due to errors in the pricing or tax configuration, or when a subscription was incorrectly provisioned, after the issue is resolved. MATRIXX Rerating supports past billing cycle periods for postpaid subscriptions.

  - Events Delivered to the Billing System
    When a MATRIXX Rerating job is approved by the operator in Rerating Workbench, a new set of events is delivered to the billing system. These events replace the prior set of events for each rerated message. The previous set of events is the set of events from either the most recently approved message rerating or from the original processing if there is no previously approved message rerating.
  - Transaction Events
    If MATRIXX Rerating is enabled, one additional event—a transaction event—is generated from the live system for most transactions and contains data needed to enable MATRIXX Rerating. When messages are rerated, the live system generates transaction events for any transaction that creates, updates, or deletes objects in the subscriber, activity, or balance set database.
